Intensive Support Programme (ISP)
Intensive Support Programme (ISP) The ISP is a series of professional workshops focused on pupillage applications, mock interviews and other key areas of professional development. The programme of workshops are specifically aimed at individuals who aspire to the Bar from African, Caribbean and/or loweconomic backgrounds. Applicants should have completed the second year of a law degree (or the GDL) to be eligible to apply. All workshops are delivered by established barristers, pupils and prospective pupils. Acceptance on the programme in October annually is via a competitive process.
All participants receive, as a minimum:
• A mentor who is a practising barrister.

• Two mock interviews with practising barristers.
• Opportunities to attend monthly professional workshops.
Mentoring
Become a mentor and provide 1x mock interview, reading pupillage applications and
providing feedback. Offer one to one mentoring either via Skype/telephone/in person.
Time commitment of 2 hours a month maximum. October 2020 – June 2021.
• Social Media supporter. Be intentional about retweeting our tweets (or engaging on other social media platforms) to reach more of our target audience.
